On Friday, October 27th, The Minnesota Business for Early Learning (MnBel) presented its 3rd Minnesota Business Forum on School Readiness. Participants included, Al Stroucken, Chairman of H.B. Fuller, Art Rolnick, Senior Vice President and Director of Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Peter Hutchinson, Independent Party Candidate, and invited business executives.
Mr. Stroucken the chair of the Minnesota Business for Early Learning, said “We need to ensure that our young children are not only being well cared for, but that they are in an environment where they can grow, thrive and ultimately, be positioned to be successful members of society and future contributing employees and citizens.”
This year’s forum included participant discussion groups, Governor’s candidate roundtable with Art Rolnick, Panel Presentation on Early Care and Education, A Gubernatorial Candidates Perspective, and Child-Friendly Employers of the Year Award rewarded to General Mills and Goff-Howard. The 3rd Minnesota Business forum was held at General Mills headquarters in Golden Valley.
